Langjökull glacier is where we operate our scheduled snowmobile tours. Langjökull is the glacier closest to Reykjavík making it easy and relatively fast to get to, or about 2 hours. Many of our customers add snowmobiling to their Golden Circle tour, either meeting us at Gullfoss for the pick-up or driving all the way to our base camp themselves. From our base camp on Kjölur road, you can enjoy a great view of the vast fields surrounded by high mountains and, of course, the magnificent glacier. Here we have facilities where we gear up and get ready for exploring Iceland’s second biggest glacier, Langjökull.
