Iceland is one of a few places in the world where you can experience the thrill of snowmobiling on a glacier. Meet us at our base camp by Langjökull glacier for your snowmobiling tour on Langjökull glacier, Iceland’s second biggest ice cap. We provide all the equipment you need for you snowmobiling adventure and make sure you are safe and warm on the glacier. Snowmobiling from our base camp is available from June to October and requires visitors to drive the highland road F35. This tour is a fantastic way to enjoy the Icelandic wilderness, nature and glaciers at first hand.

Please note that the price of the tour is based on two persons sharing a snowmobile but having your own snowmobile is avalible for an an extra 6.000 isk.

Driving directions

We daily departure from our base camp at 13:00 and 16:00 but we ask you to meet us there at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. Driving from Reykjavík takes around 2 and a half hours so please make sure you calculate enough time for your drive.

The drive from Gullfoss to the base camp is on a F-road, please confirm with your car rental that your rental is allowed on F-roads beforehand.
