This is the perfect adventure and sightseeing combo in Iceland. Your day will start as you are picked up to join your group and we start making our way out of Reykjavík. Your first stop is at Þingvellir National Park, you might have seen it spelt Thingvellir or sometimes even Pingvellir. It’s all the same. This is where Icelanders founded their parliament in 930 which makes it one of the first parliament in the world.

Thingvellir is also where the tectonic plates meet and there is a spot you can walk across, this is such a cool experience.

Next up we will visit the famous Strokkur geyser. Its forefather Geysir is the one that all of the geysers in the world are named after and it stands close by still today even though it doesn’t burst anymore. Strokkur puts on the most amazing show every 5-10 minutes keeping you guessing with that tingly feeling in your stomach for only a short time until it gushes up into the sky.

The last stop on the Golden Circle is the Gullfoss waterfall a.k.a. the Golden Waterfall. This location sure is a sight for sore eyes. The grand canyon of Hvítá river is simply mesmerizing and the power of the waterfall is breathtaking. The water originates at Langjökull glacier which you will be snowmobiling across so you will see the glacier in two different forms, hard ice, and water.

Now on to the most exciting part of the tour. The snowmobiling on a glacier. We will drive from Gullfoss to the ever so lovely Langjökull glacier and get dressed for the tour. We will provide you with everything needed, overalls, balaclavas, gloves and a helmet. Then your guide will go over all the things you need to know to stay safe and fully enjoy the ride. An hour’s ride over the glacier will be a fantastic way to finish the day and will be sure to create memories to last a lifetime.

After the tour, we will head back to the base before starting our drive back to Reykjavík.

Please note that the price of the tour is based on two persons sharing a snowmobile. You can have a solo snowmobile for 6.000 isk.
